I'm Heather, the founder of this fresh flowers business, and I’m so excited to share the beauty of Colorado-grown blooms with you. All of our flowers are locally sourced, most grown right here in the Boulder Valley. There's something incredibly special about having flowers that are not just fresh, but local—brought to you from the same soil that nourishes our communities and our mountains.
My passion for flowers runs so deep that I once told my family I’d rather pull thistles all day (with my bare fingers) than spend five minutes in the kitchen. My mom laughed and said I was just like my grandma in that way—always happiest when surrounded by nature, working in the garden. No matter what, my garden has brought me joy.
But life has a way of shifting things unexpectedly. In February 2022, I experienced a life-changing health event—sepsis. I fought through it and emerged on the other side, forever changed. That experience reshaped my perspective on life. I realized how fleeting time can be and how important it is to pursue what truly brings you joy. Life is too short, and sometimes it takes a big shake-up to help you see it clearly. For me, that meant realizing how much I love playing in my garden and how much joy it brings me.
After taking a good, hard look at my life, I decided to follow my heart and share that love with others. That’s why I started this fresh flowers business—to offer something that makes people smile, adds beauty to their day, and supports local growers right here in Colorado. Flowers are not just something you put in a vase; they’re a reminder of life’s simple pleasures, a symbol of nature’s balance, and a connection to something larger than ourselves.
